Just as an athlete trains, an artist trains.  I enjoy figure drawing as a chance to exercise my drawing skills. Figure drawing helps develop a sense of proportion, angles, space, and values (lights / darks). It trains the eye. These are some rough sketches I drew from life during studio sessions, collaborating among fellow artists.
