It all started with the Tinfoil Project...

For 403 straight days, I created an abstract art piece to mark my mood
throughout my husband's last military deployment.
This chronology stretched from May 2020 to July 2021.
Every abstract was based on a piece of tinfoil.
I would stare at it and contemplate my mood.
Mood has an ebb & flow which was evident amongst the
months and months of abstracts I made.
Out of every dark patch comes light.
And the light is worth waiting for.
During that deployment, as a separate goal,
I set out to read the entire Bible.
It wasn't until after the deployment that I realized strong connections
between what I read in the morning to what I created at night.
I decided to share the Tinfoil Project by posting it on Instagram.
Starting in May 2022, I rolled out the abstracts day-by-day,
in the order I created them.
Each were accompanied by a Biblical verse
which I had read on the day of their making.
After the 403rd post was made, I decided to continue posting new art.
Now, each month I choose a theme from which to draw or paint.
I also post a monthly verse, in keeping with the original Tinfoil Project,
and because you never know when you might need it.
Much appreciation to my faithful Tinfoilers who heart my posts!
